After graduation, Robert began his legal career by completing a judicial clerkship on the Colorado Court of Appeals.  Following his clerkship, Robert opened his solo practice focusing, as he has for the past 18 years, on estate and trust planning, probate and trust administration, and related business and real estate matters.
Robert Phillips, Esq.
He has published many articles on estate planning, estate administration, trusts and taxes, and has been a frequent lecturer and speaker in professional and public education classes and seminars.  While continuously engaged in the full-time practice of law, he was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Colorado School of Law, teaching the Wills and Trusts course and an upper-class level Estate Planning class for thirteen years.

In 2000 Robert and his long-time friend and colleague, Wayne M. His law office is located in Louisville, Colorado, about 5 miles east of Boulder, Colorado.  Robert's practice continues to focus on estate and trust planning and administration, while also providing counsel to his clients on related matters such as contracts, asset protection, business organizations and real estate matters.
